You need to be more specific. One DX object or all DX objects? What type of script? Is it one that accesses the NET?

Kaspersky is known to block SCRIPTING which is needed to allow DX to work.
Try (disconnecting from the internet - for safety) then shut down Kaspersky, and other programs, and see when things start to work, when they start working, look at the program you just shut down to see if there is an option to allow scripts to run.

Are you online working in DX or offline ?

I find that DX constantly will not respond when I try working offline.

The latest version of DesktopX will not allow me to apply more than one change or I'll lose what I'm working on..

I just work online when using desktopx..
