I am having latest DesktopX update from impulse. Now with it whenever I try to rotate an object from script it changes its position too. Even the dxwidget Ultima`Notes with a skin with rotating object at the top is having trouble. I made it with DX 3.1 and it was working fine for me at that time.

I made an object with script for changing its height. It was aligned with bottom so that the bottom remains stable. It was working fine with the older version but now it is working as if it is aligned to top.  (

I can give link to the object if needed. I am using WinXP sp2, DesktopX 3.50.059. Please provide any possible solution to this problem. I dont know whether its only me who is having this or others too. Any help?

I KNOW... THE CORRECT ROTATION IS A BIG PROBLEM!  (

Several months ago I worked on a new Media Player where I added two rotating controls - for Stereo Balance and Sound. I had a lot a problems with this because DesktopX work incorrect with any rotating objects. Seems It lost a centar... So I made complicated code which calculate the rotating angle through geometry formulas and then apply these angle to the object. Now my controls rotate around the center without any bugs. Let me know if you need this code. I'll find this project on my old computer and send you the separated *.dxpack file with the script. Just learn how it work and use in your project.

Will it work if I will export the object as a standalone gadget with the older version of Dx? Any idea?

Seems it will work in any cases...

Ok. I'll try to send you the *.dxpack through Wincustomize mail service.
